Campus Ministry Mission Statement
Immaculata University’s Campus Ministry is a spiritual home for all students. Our community is rooted in the Catholic & IHM traditions and inspired by the life and charism of St. Alphonsus Liguori, Mother Theresa Maxis, and Fr. Gillet. We grow in relationship with God, ourselves, and others through service, prayer, and fellowship.
Weekly Gospel Reflection
Third Sunday of Easter
If you have ever been separated for a period of time from a close friend, then you can imagine the joy the friends of Jesus may have felt on seeing Him again. In their minds, Jesus was gone for good, since that's the natural way of thinking when someone dies. However, Jesus returned and came searching for his friends, to show that He defeated death and to wish them peace.
What would you give to see a loved one, or close friend again? What would it mean to you to see someone you loved who died, come, and wish you peace after grieving their lost? Jesus' return was no short miracle, He proved that He is a man of his word.
I pray that the celebration of the resurrected Lord brings you peace and joy as well. I pray that our focus and hope remain firm in the Lord. That one day we will all be united with the Father, celebrating His love for us.
